Expert X installation Kit?

Just wondering if anyone knows what ad boivin charges for a installation kit? I havent called ad boivin yet but a seller on ebay that was from canada told me they had the mount kit for a warrior in stock and it was $150 for the mount kit and $150 for the "brackets" that go on the outside of the tunel. On their website it says the kit is $150. Anyone know what they charge? I want to know how much b4 I call them so I have enough $$ on my card.

Yeah that's what I thought too but the seller I talked to said the plates that go on the outside of the tunnel were anothe $150 because they arn't part of the mount kit. I'm thinking they were just trying to rip me off.

Looking at the manual it looks like those side pieces should have come with the suspension. They call them side frame doublers.

I would say the guy is trying to rip you off. I also believe that the plates come with the suspension. It has been a few years since I bought mine but I know for sure that I only had two things on my invoice the suspension and the mounting kit.

If he bought the suspension used it may not have come with those side pieces. They may still be on the old tunnel.

Ya that is possible but he should have asked for them because there of no use for anything else. I pulled mine off my old Polaris Gen2 chassis when I sold it because I may want to use the suspension in something else. I would call boivin and find out what those are worth.

mbarclay....I might be able to dig up a template that I have use to make my own side plates, get a machine shop to make them out of aluminum for about 50 bucks. only has to be 1/8 inch thick.

Let me look around and see if I got them. And yes the mount kit is 150.00 from Ad Bovin. Just call up Excell Motorsports in NY. Aaron will have them in stock.

aww i forgot you had already told me that lol. For some reason I was thinking those sideplates were the mount kit. Thanks letting me know about excell if you cant find the template no big deal I'll just buy the plates new.

No problem I sent Excell an email to see if they have the install kit and sideplates. Hopefully they have both instock and I can finally get this skid installed


Did you get your Cat yet? I love the looks of those.
