Personally I would drop to a 18 tooth on the GT. The gear is only 50$ and you will have the case open anyhow. There is no way it's going to pull a 20 tooth gear to full clutch shiftout short of adding boost.

I actually have a FX with the stock 18 gear in it. After I extended mine to a 136". I did some testing and actually preferred using the 17tooth. I lost about 6 mph on top. But I offtrail mostly and I am not concerned about top speed. Hope this helps.

What kind of riding are you going to be doing most of the time? If your riding mostly in the powder I would put the MTX gearing in which is a 17T. If your not I would put the FX gearing.

That was Awesome! I was there for the picture! he came off of a small bump in the trail and just gas'd it at the perfect time, He almost pulled it all the way over! of course that phazer has a few other mods that make it a little quicker than a stocker. It's a Sweet sled!zackn291 said:How do I get my Phazer to do a wheelie like that? or did you come off a hill?

I got the limiter strap backed right off. It's on there but on the loosest hole.

when my phazer was completly stock i would pull the skis up about 2 feet and then all at once i added the excell exhaust, fuel accelerator, modified air box cover, and ulmer clutch kit and now it pulls the on average 3 1/2 to 4 feet and the limit strap is still at stock so it all depends on what you do to the sled but the best mod i think is the ulmer clutch kit it pulls a million times harder then the stock and it is so smooth through to top end.
and the sled turns great like that lol just lean on way or another lol

Interesting.....no matter what or how mine will NOT pull the ski's up more than an couple inches. Unless hitting some form of bump or whatnot. My strap is on the second hole though. In fact even with studs will not pull the ski's on ANY terrain.
