I was planning on changing the track to a Cobra and using Ski-doo extroverts, because I heard they are the best fit.
I can't get a hold of any ski-doo extroverts. The only ones I have found are Wahl Brothers.
Is it worth changing to extroverts and are the Wahl's any good?
thanks

Wahls are good. I ran em on my 144 Nytro all last year with the 1.75 track with wicked hookup all year and they still look like new. We'll see this year with the 144 finger track and Powderlites turbo.

No more doo drivers, at least the 9 tooth 2.52 pitch.
Doo stopped making them. You can only order them on a shaft.
I am ordering the AVID drivers for my 05 Warrior.

When I talked to AVid, they said they outsource their 9 thooth 2.52 pitch to Wahl.

I could be wrong, but I thought he said that he makes the 9 tooth 2.52 drivers in the white plastic (his own), and the 8 tooth 2.52 are Wahls drivers.

What are the factory drivers?? 9 tooth?
Can you cut out the windows on a factory ripsaw track to accommodate??
Thanks guys. Looking at this as an option to keeping the track piano string tight all the time.

Can't you just pull off the outer wheels and press on a pair of anti-ratchets from an MTX?!?! Cut out the windows and your good to go!! HEY! Does anyone know, after cutting out the windows are you supposed to burn or melt the corners so the track doesn't get damaged??

I think that the Mtn. drivers are 8 tooth not 9. From what I have seen on here it seems the best way it to use a sharp utility knife and some WD to help it slip through.

Ah yes! 8 tooth they are!! A hot homemade die would be a useful tool to cut those windows! Extroverts in the works, Jay??

I'm putting a 1.5" Crossover on mine. I just happen to have a brand new set of Doo 9 tooth extroverts I got from a dude on DooTalk for $60! Right place at the right time!
I looked at the Nitro on-line brochure and it looks like the stock Ripsaw has all the windows open. Maybe the dealers that already have some delivered could let us know?

yes, all windows are open, but only clipped every third.
Can I run extros without clipping the rest of them?
Also, without removing the cooler protectors you will be limited to a 1.5 inch track, and that will be close. Obviously if you remove the protectors then you can add approx 1 inch to that depending on how close to the cooler you want to go.
I wonder if i can run 9 tooth extros without cutting the rails on the stock xtx skid Anyone know?

I ran extros on last Rev with every third window clipped for 2 years and almost 12,000 miles with 0 problems. You should be good to go.
