Right on! Thanks for the explanation. So if a Viper had 160 hp and a 800 E Tec has 160 HP the E tec would win. Then yes I would have to agree with you. I rode a stock Viper today and I'm sorry to say, but they are slow! From 0-75 great, but after that I don't know what's going on?? No pull after 75-80. Weird??

Read the first post. Why your so into the speed issue is unknown but this is about weight/handling for his wife. Any 4 stroke will not handle or be as nimble as her 800 period.
