They are a bit longer holding the slides closed a bit longer.
This keeps the main jet needle from open too early restricting the flow of fuel from the main jet until the fuel is required.
The black springs does fix the low end pig Rich situation most People had.
They also made the mid range AFRs run closer to perfect as well.
They cured my sled 100%.
