Well we are leaving for a cruise on saturday and the snow will be gone upon return. So I ran a couple runs. The back field had excellent hardpack for about 800-900 ft run. Running upnorth this past weekend it seemed like it liked to pull 8850-8900 on top to get mph. The 43/33 pulled about 8800 and pulled strong out of hole. I tried the 39/33 again just to see and it did not pull hard enough from about O -80 but from 80 on up it was running 8850-8900 and seemed better than the 43/33 from that speed. The 43/33 was pulling a little hard down low and down about 100 rpms on top from where I wanted. So I decided to take a little weight out. I was running 106 grams and took it down to 103.4 grams. This really worked extremely well. It came out of the hole about 8900-9000 fell to 8800 and climbed back to 8900. The amazing thing is it pulled really hard seemed to pull better than the heavier setup. From a rolling 30 mph punch the skis came up about 8 inches and held for over a hundred feet. The 39/33 would not do this. This setup comes out of the hole on good hardpack like a rocket. A couple times I had to let off because it was drifting and hit the throttle again and it just launched. Next year I will put this setup on the gps timer against my dalton and HH setup. As of right now the pb-80 is my setup of choice. Thanks again guys. I will report back again next year.
