Finally, a rear suspension that just works... Cheap Too!

I hear you.No $ here either. If you do blow out your stocker give me a shout.Roic's post here can help you also. When at the races go talk to the Doo guys and see if they have any shocks.I know at Haydays they were giving away alot of old race stuff.I got a whole big tote of springs for $5.Two were Titanium torsion springs. For that price I will even run some Doo stuff!

I also not very good with clutching and supention setup. So when I ask these questions I still have know idea what you talking about, what is good and what is bad.

Its whatever makes you happy.Sounds like you like the way your sled works so leave it alone till you have to.Just go have fun.

When did yamaha ever say GT stands for groomed trail?? Cuz I have never heard that confirmed from anyone. Yamaha botched the softness of the ride..plain and simple..They would be less apt to hurt people with a little stiffer setup than one that self preloads on every little bump..did they test these on concrete or what..

I'd start with a set of the 2500nm springs from a FX/RTX if your running a GT or Base model. I think these are the best for all conditions and riding styles.

So what would be a good rear shock thats affordable and for an agressive rider? I got a 07 GT..hoping to get something a little cheaper than the 500 fox one

Would the one from the 04 rev fit perfect? and also would that be good enough for me or will it still be soft (I assume its the stock Rev rear shock(s). Since you race you probably ride even harder than me so I'll def. take your advice

So does anyone have those springs you say are to stiff that they are willing to sell?

I have some available for the front ski shocks, but not the rears.

what colour are they and how much? They are stiffer than stock right?

Sending you a PM 80h4thephaze. Look for it in your inbox in a few minutes.

Should bolt on if you get a rev 440 race shock they will be to stiff even for me. Snocross valving is different than CC valving. The x package shokcs in 03 were pretty stiff and should work well. However most those shock are do for a good rebuild I am sure.

Otherwise Bruce at bee line suspension is who works on my sled. He can build you a custom shock for $300-$400

I just got a set of custom built shocks for a buddies 04 Renegade from Deycore.Rear with 5/8shaft front 1/2 no adjustments.$420 for both. These are FOX copies.no adjustments though but if the valving is right you really shouldnt need any adjustments.
