After I built my undertunnel exhaust last year I quickly threw together a piece to cover up the hole that was under the seat from the factory exhaust, along with making a seat bracket.
Seen here
Well I finally purchased a flat bottom seat, Mountain Mod, so it was time to make my tunnel cover. Got it put on the sled tonight along with the brake light and the bag and tank mounts.
What do you think?

LOL I had actually planned on it but they were out of them at the show, then I spent all my money on my Banshee before I bought a set.

Good job, another thing that I hate is the lower part of the rear bumper, it gets your hands everytime you lift from the side. I cut mine off.

Funny you mention that, I was looking at that bumper last night, thinking to myself hmmm there has to be a way to make a better bumper.

take it off and feel how heavy it is. I made my own using some carbon fibre and alloy, easy fix: )

Thanks everyone for the compliments.
Everything worked well on my last trip, 6 solid days of sledding. I did discover two things though.
First, I need to further redirect my exhaust outlet down, it heated up the top of the tunnel enough to start to melt my Craiggerbuilt gas tank mount, I think it happened on the day with the least powder.
The scecond thing was my tail light, during the day it wasn't even noticiable and during the dusk/night was less than adequete, so I've already come up with a way to mount the stock tail light and it'll look cool to. More to come.
Now any suggestions for replacing the rear bumper/grab bar?

Bumper
I replaced my bumper with one from Hartman, Inc. It is aluminum so it is lighter and it is curved upward to make it easy to lift with. It is reasonably priced ($70 + shipping) as well. You will have to drill new mount holes, but it is a simple install.

Hartman bumper
I don't have any picture of it on my sled, but I may be able to get one this weekend. It is the standard bumper that he uses on all of his tunnel extension kits. Here is a picture taken from his catalog (http://www.hartmaninc.com/fotos/2010cat ... _lorez.pdf page 58).

Hmm that would block my tail light, may be ok when I put the larger one on though. Really like to actually see it on a sled, hard to get a good idea what its going to look like sitting on a table.
