I have extensive turbo experience having owned the first year 2009 Z1 Turbo and I still have my 2012 F1100 Turbo. Additionally I bought a 2014 137" Viper for my wife. Here is my take on my 2017 Sidewinder after just 40 miles - bone stock - no studs.
It is a Viper on monster steroids, but smoother. The first part I expected, but not the second. Just to make sure when I returned I took my wife's Viper for a ride and it confirmed everything. This thing is smooth as butter. Power is instant and it's a blast to ride. It's faster than both the other turbos out of the crate and I'm anxious to see what I will be gaining. The sled is crazy fast.
My only complaint so far would be the ski's. I have always put aftermarket ski's on my sleds, but I was hoping this would be different. I don't think so.
I'm fired up to ride this sled.

Thanks for the report, reading the first ride reports is making me even more anxious to get out on my new Sidewinder, but no snow up here yet , hope it's not year 3 for no snow!

Congrats on the first ride..keep coming back with updates please.

I haven't even bought my studs yet. Let alone new skis. Heck I have never had aftermarket skis so I am lucky I don't know what I am missing.
