I just ordered the Powermadd pivot adapter and a 5" riser. The Floats on the RTX are longer than than MTX I think. I found a new 153 challenger in fairbanks for $425 so I'm good on the track.


I'm not sure on the rear suspension. I need to play with it a little more. I started with the transfer rods backed all the way off for max transfer but then it makes the supsension super soft so I moved them back up and it helped.

Are you refering to the rear strap on the skid??? If so, when you pulled it down (tighter) it stiffened the suspension???? Very interesting.

The MTX does not have a limiter strap on the rear arm of the skid, it has transfer rods. By screwing them in or out you can adjust weight transfer.

Yamaha now has a ohlins rear shock that will work in the nytro mtx skid.

I'm not going to waste my money on the stock skid. When I get funds I'll buy the Kmod rear end. I "heard" the Ohlins shock is around $400.
