Today I had my first ride on my Viper with the Skinz Super-Q silencer installed on it. And wow this is to loud for my liking.
Love the way it fits in sled and opens up space under the hood. Just think it is going to be to much on a long ride or week end trip. Not to mention piss off my neighbors.
Anyone else have this can and what do you think? Thanks

Same one I had on my Viper... Very loud for trail riding. If I would have kept the sled I would have tried a different exhaust this year.

I have the SPI trail can. Sounds real nice but not overly loud. Got a lot of complements on it over the weekend

I had an OSP can that was too loud for me so I switched to the Ulmer quiet can and it's much better. A little Louder than stock at high rpm but not crazy.Pipe has been sold and I can hear myself sing again.

I ran one for a bit. It wasn't my favorite out of a few that I've tried. Louder at cruise with a sound that I didn't find that pleasing. It looked better built than the quieter MBRP I had. I ended up happy with a Sandale muffler. Great sound with a nice bark when you get on it but not too loud at cruise or idling.

I think the stock pipe is too loud. I wish there was a quieter exhaust out there

I bought the exhaust from stormin Norman...yes its louder than stock but sounds mean and is great for maintenance ...the louder the better...my buddys can defiantly hear me coming..loud pipes save lives.
Set of ear buds or plugs does the trick .

Really. Just how old are you? Do you help club put trails in and get permission from all the landowners for using thier property? Do you ride those trails? Hoping you don't and only ride where no one other than your buddies can hear you.I bought the exhaust from stormin Norman...yes its louder than stock but sounds mean and is great for maintenance ...the louder the better...my buddys can defiantly hear me coming...

Everyone goes through stages, sooner or later you realize that a smooth performance sound is were its at, and yes i help out with trail maintenance even though we dont have an actual trail by the house, but have the necessary signatures to connect the Powers trailhead to Cedar River to Stephenson, then hopefully across the river to Wausakee Wi.
