First ride with disturbing find...

With that said.....
Going on six seasons with this sled, I can't say I've ever seen moisture in there.
So.....
A. The multiple starts, not to temperature
Or
B. Open 5/8 ROV delete hanging from the bottom
Or
C. quite possibly a combination of both?!?!

No worries.....just checking.

Things that make you go hmmm......

Very very common to find a tiny amount of liquid water as the first fluid to come out of oil tank when doing oil changes for customers. Sleds that get started and shut off allot (like loading/unloading/getting moved to parking area, etc) without being allowed to reach operating temp. Guys with those easy oil change kits (valve with hose that comes off the drain plug) when I open the valve, about a half of a thimble full of water comes out first. What jt is seeing is normal.

I am not a big subscriber to starting the engine much in the off season, and when i do i run it until the temps just begin to exceed normal operating range.
WIth that said - i had to replace the oil tank gasket last Fall so i had it apart and there was some condensation on the roof of the oil tank - i was surprised - but not alarmed. Just goes to show that with the temp changes during the season condensation will form. Once the sled season starts - the first good 30 min ride will heat things up and burn it out i am sure.
