I bought myself a 2012 xtx and love it. much better for my riding style then my old warrior. but i do have acouple questions. i noticed that maybe it could be a little more snappy when riding in deep ditches. I am thinking of clutching it, noticed that keeping it up more in the rpm's seemed to be better. agian this is my first time on this sled and crappy conditions.
I also noticed the sled seemed to push through the turns again crappy conditions not much hard pack just alot of fluff on the "trail" it came with the tuner skis and 4/6 inch carbides. just wondering if maybe i should try changing something suspension wise? it does do very well over the big woops. has no problem obsorbing decent sized jumps but i do alot of trail riding so more concerned about making turns a little better.
also wonder if the steering relocate would be a good thing for me i am 5 foot 10 and 220 pounds feels pretty good standing and sitting. will it make riding any better. this thing is a dream to ride allready haha.
rode about 50 miles in fairmont MN with a buddy and his 15 LTX

Pics look great btw!
Push in turns.....snap less when banging....rear suspension harshness.......Welcome to NytroWorld
Bought mine new in 10 and have done lots of mods (thank you TY) and now ABSOLUTELY love it. Hard to tell which is the best first mods but my first was to clutch it (I have Schimdt bros stage 2) and it really woke her up.
I will say, every single mod has improved this sled noticeably and am already working towards the next round (Mountain tech Arms)
Wicked power, Yamaha Quality and lots of A/M support to make it your very own

So second ride was even better on some better snow. No pushing when there is a hard pack i would say the tuner skis are better than the older ones. I have a schmidt bros clutch coming. Had some fun with the skis lifting but made some adjustments to keep the skis planted better. I broke a hand gurad an ordered some power madd ones.
Thinking about doing a wrap and led head lights.
I love all the adjustments i can do with this beast. So much better ride tha. My rx 1ton

I too have a new to me Nytro xtx. I installed the Star suspension and had all 4 shocks rebuilt and set to my weight and riding type. I too have tuners with 4/6 carbides. With riding a total of 397 miles this past weekend I have to say I am very impressed. Cold yes though. Studs are going in this coming weekend and also going to install a higher w/s and air deflectors.

The tuners are good on hard pack trails but come up short in other areas. I got tired of them pushing thru the corners whenever there was any loose snow on top, so I stepped up to a set of curves. I couldn't be happier! They are extremely predictably in all trail conditions and they float nicely. These skis along with my Mountaintech a-arms, is just like power steering on a Nytro.

I will have to look into the curves. It might be a dumb question but wht do the mountaintech a arms do for the sled?

Definitely do the OFT steering relocater. I'm same size as you, and don't know how I rode that thing without it!
