A few heat cycles and then WFO. Break it in how you ride it, never failed me on any 2 or 4 stroke sled!

I have got .5 miles on my apex this year. Rode a little down the road, with my new sure grip dollies, and then the next day we got a dusting of snow, so I took the sled out for a few quick rips. To break the sled in I would just keep varying the throttle position, a lot of full throttle burst, and don't try to keep the same speed going for a long period of time.

Im up here in the Northern Tip of Maine. and ive yet to see good snow yet! I got a 20 min ride in my field but thats about it. once we get a ft+ ill have access to 1000's of miles on untraveld roads!
If you are looking for a good place to go this winter Northern Maine is Near unbeatable IMO unless your looking for the Rocky mt's. we got that too but =) theres also trees.
