Hey guys, new too the site and new too yamaha!! Picked my new APEX ER on the week-end and let me tell you, I haven`t stopped staring at it since!! What a gorgeous sled. Took it out on Monday night and I can`t get over the engine on this thing... it scary fast!! I was a little worried about the weight issue before buying, but I can honestly tell you now, the weight is just not an issue anymore! Thanks for all the great info on this site, you guys helped me convert from Polaris and I will never look back!

FIRST RIDE 2200 KM RTX (couldn't take the grief of the 05 mach z anymore )
Awsome motor, clutching,rear shock needs some work !
3 mach z's(2/ 2005 , 1/ 2006) , 2 apex gt's ** rtx wins all races !
Added nylon washers at hooks , foamed bars , handlebar heat excellent !
Fastest and best on fuel ! awsome ride !!
Towed 1 mach z 20 km and still beat him at the pumps by $11.00

Rode an RTX the day before,PURE EVIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.This sleds power and handling was awesome and SCARY.I thought my 04 warrior was crazy?
