Fit and finish, who cares!

Has anyone seen the new cats yet? Perhaps they fixed some of the issues on their own before yamaha had too. Like Bottlerocket said the chassis has been out for two years. Plenty of time to do r&d and fix known issues. They have made improvements each year up to now, so why stop.

That's what Im thinking, why talk/post anything about this thing until production and then you will know. Lock all viper post till further notice! Procross chassis have already been out for 2 years but the viper hopefuls don't believe it. Different clutches and motor so nobody knows crap about them. Like beating a dead horse....

I was thinking lock them up too! I didn't want to hear anything bad about them either but after hearing what guys like sj had to say I decided to wait at least a year...Yamaha is giving them a 3 year warranty though they must be pretty confident there wont be major recalls?

EVERYONE PLEASE STOP PISSING ON THE SRVIPERCAT PARADE!!!!!

the truth will be revealed in about 9-12 months.

Thy wouldn't Yamaha people be concerned about F&F, it's one of the biggest thing's Yamaha is known for. It's also an indication of build quality. I guess if none of this is important to you than you probably can't complain about a motor being only good for 4,000 mi or buying $180 belt's ETC.
I buy Yamaha's for a reason and it all starts with looking good!!!

Just look how terrible the fit and finish on mine is! How Embarrassing!

Anna Nicole Smith looked good for a short period of time too but after a few miles they stopped taking close up of her! Stay back...they look awesome!

Those who enjoy their own emotionally bad health and who habitually fill their own minds with the rank poisons of suspicion, jealousy and hatred, as a rule take umbrage at those who refuse to do likewise, and they find a perverted relief in trying to denigrate them.

Maybe they should put some engineering into the reverse system rather than heating goggles? Maybe the goggles are drawing too much juice from the reverse servo?

Goggle heater runs on exhaust heat my friend. Reverse on a two stroke is just a backward spinning engine. No extra weight. Doesn't Yamaha have their own reverse for the Nytro Engine?

I have no idea what Yamaha is doing with the reverse...I really like your sled it does look awesome...just trying to have a few laughs with you guys!

And to end the night on a positive note, Here's a parting shot of my stomping grounds, I'm in the white helmet. This is overlooking the Humber Valley in Western Newfoundland. Just ignore the Polaris and focus on the background. That is called Crown Land, my friends, which means it is owned by the people. Which also means we get to ride wherever the hell we want. Groomed trails are just a way to get to all the good stuff. This shot was taken last Sunday. Elevation 1600 ft. See those white mountains in the background? There's all kinds of shananigans you can get into over there. That's about 50km away and they're called the Lewis Hills. Best snowmobiling east of the Rockies and that's a fact, Jack!
