I bought a used 05 RX1 in the spring last year. The owner had a CPR air filter and carbs jetted but removed the kits before he sold it. He lost a couple float bowl screws and rounded some others. I was on ebay the other night and some one had a set of allen headed screws with the same thread size for sale for the carb float bowls. I didn't buy them and now they are gone. Does any body know what the screw size is? I might be able to find the allen head screws locally.
Thanks Bruce

hey PC,
those screws are very common, you can get at any ACE hardware, even in allen heads. just pull one off and take it to the store with you.
tip: on the sticky ones you should use needle nose vice-grip pliers to first break the screw loose, or an impact screw driver. i got all allen heads on mine now, that oem screw was a very soft metal, i also think Yamaha hired a Sumo wrestler to put them on at the factory. that same wrestler put my engine oil drain bolt on.
good luck
