wondering if anyone has used a float plate on thier phazer and if it is worth getting one
Yes, and Yes! I have the stock yami in BLK I would sell ya but honestly you want the skinz float plate. The Yami doesn't help at all!

by the way, how do you like your wrp boards? and do you find that the simmons gen2 skis hurt the side hilling
WRP Boards are sweet! Easy install with a saws all and rivet gun. NO more snow and ice, one kick and it's clean. The Gen II are big and work great for around here. Always making own trail and going through tree's to get places so they keep you on top at slow speeds. When I side hill there is always lots of snow so they do work good but in shallow snow they are harder to throw up for sure. The Gen III look like they would be a great compromise for most.

With the Skinz plate, do you have to put on an aftermarket bumper, or do they fit on the stock setup?

They fit with the stock bumper. Got to test mine out last night hugh difference def worth the money.
