Flywheel puller and Case spilt

Hello, I am tearing apart a 2005 Yamaha Vector and read in the manual that youy need to remove the flywheel. But the recommended flywheel puller from yamaha was 200$ which I'd rather not spend if need be. Is there any other pullers that would work just as well. Also since I was going to spilt the cases is there any useful tips out there. Thanks!

I use a standard Snap-On puller like listed in the link below. Anything similar will work.
