Was talking to Tracks USA about the 2.25 extreme and was told that it has the same soft thin paddle compound as the Mav. So why would I bother to switch to the 2.25 extreme?????

I have the softer M7 take off 153 camo(alittle softer than the 9985) and it's still way stiffer than the Maverick.

It is odd that tracks USA would tell me that...

Is it possible the Maverick tracks Bruce sells are stiffer than the ones on the Yamaha's?

That could be..
I just switched my Maverick around this weekend (running in opposite direction). WOW, what a difference. Might want to try that option first.

It'll help me too I'm going to give my OEM Mav one more try when we have some base - if it still sucks, it'll get turned around

What benefit do you gain from turning it around? Won't it just bend the other way after a couple miles of use?
