for those that have used the primary o-p-o spring

I dont see alot of apex owners on here using the o-p-o so i firgured i would post here. I currently have an hc 2 speed kit with the black spring. Was fiddling around with the o-p-o and comparing the springs is impossible since hc doesnt list their rates. The hc spring is abut 1 inch smaller but the diameter of the springs looks and feels the same. Ive got my sled set up pretty good with the hc and comparing the two springs driving it feels/looks like the hc spring is producing more rpms/torque. My question is(since it seems alot of you are using o-p-o) that if the springs look identical besides length would it produce a difference in rpms in mid-top end? It looks like maybe a couple hundred rpms difference but conditions arent perfect either. All Im trying to do is reduce engagement, (which ive succeeded by 600rpms) without touching anything in the shift pattern is all. Any info, tips is greatly appreciated!

The black HC spring is a 140/400 if that helps you with anything
