Have any of you noticed your rail caps getting hammered? Mine were getting hit pretty good so I ordered an Anti Stab kit. I rolled the sled into the garage tonight to install it and when I looked under there I was missing a cap.
Anyway, I put the Anti Stab in so hopefully no more worries but just wondered if others were experiencing this. I had cut about an inch off the rail tips when I put the track on to clear the extro drivers and am thinking this might be why the rail tips were getting hammered.

first thing i do on my phazers is pull the limit strap in one hole and put some pressure in the shock - have not seen it on my shorty or my 136
Yeah, mine looked like brand new when I had the skid out and installed the new track.
I did the skid setback and extro's and have had no sign of wear. Without the set back the angle of attack is pretty brutal. Do the setback and get rid of extentions IMO. Climbs up on the snow way better.
Speeking of extentions, if you have them keep an eye on your rails where they tip up. Mine cracked there when I ran the extention with the stock crappy shock set up and stiffer springs because of the brutal rebounding because of no dampening in stock shock.
I'm thinking aftermarket skid in the off season.
