Greetings again. I have an old nytro here, That I extended many years ago from 121 to 144 with a tracks USA kit and added an excell wheel kit. Looking things over tonight, I found these 2 parts wore out - Yamaha lists them as a 'bracket' and a 'hook' that the rear spring arm mounts within, just above a wheel. Were these just the stock nytro parts that the excell wheels mounted to? I just can't recall what came in that kit now. The square arm of the spring has chewed it's way down into the alumium bracket and the plastic is getting very thin on the side. Thanks

On 2nd thought they have to be stock mounts, since they are holding that plastic piece.

Yes they are Yamaha parts.
Kimpex offers the aluminum piece, but not the plastic.

I've replaced that plastic part with the open wheel type from a Venture Lite/MP. Works, lasts better and is less of a PITA to get the spring on it.

Good idea. Should last longer.I've replaced that plastic part with the open wheel type from a Venture Lite/MP. Works, lasts better and is less of a PITA to get the spring on it.

The other style doesn't require removal to get the spring on however.

Well I had ordered the parts first thing this morning as I have a trip coming up soon. Yamaha can keep the lights on for atleast another day with what they charge for them.
