Heard the XTX's are headed to Alaska and anywhere there is snow right now. Some should be arriving within next day or so. So that means its up to you guys to put them through the paces and shake'em down hard. Sure cant wait to get mine but I think sending them to the snow is a great decision by Yamaha. The spring ordered sleds will be next and finally the rest of the dealers stock. Here we go!

I hate to sound selfish, but I want mine NOW!!! I just spent 2 hours in my shop dry fitting my after market parts on my buddies XF800!

I know we are at least a month from rideable snow here in MN, but I have parts to powder coat, parts to add, etc...so it would be nice to get my XTX before the end of October at the very latest. It takes time to send parts out and get them back...I'm gonna be pissed if I don't get this thing until mid November and have the whole thing tore apart waiting on parts to come back from the powder coater when the first snowfall hits!!!!

I hear you. Same boat here. But think if you had snow right NOW. You would want it yesterday. Those people need them first and someone has to be first to get them. The people who can ride them on snow will let us know how they are. We need that input so you and I know what mods need to be done. Sounds like the rest of us will have them soon enough to get work done before snow and hopefully with some preseason reports on production sleds we will know what to work on.

According to the Yamaha rep I spoke to at the Milwaukee show they send them to Alaska first because shipping takes the longest and this way we all get them at about the same time.

We shall see I guess.

Really hoping that they come soon, studding, license numbers. and any accessories to be added I like to have done well before the trails open.I would like to know if the 137 tracks are single or two ply before I buy studs.I was hoping by now that some dealers would have received some sleds and the information was available.

I too am extrememly anxious as I need these machines pronto to start the Cains Quest build. I'm in Labrador so shipping will be slow, I am spring ordered and the first 7000 series 141 inch cat (Crosstour) just showed up at the dealer. It can't bee too long now I hope!! I feel like a darn 7 year old waiting for Christmas!!

Not that I am aware. Just spoke with my boss tonight who has a cabin in the Alaska range. Some snow there but nowhere near enough to ride. It would be pretty strange for anyplace in the AK to have ridable snow this early even during a normal year. Akrider may have some in Valdez but I doubt it. Fun usually doesent start until Nov-Dec.
Anyway may have to pop into my Yam dealer and see if any have arrived yet here in the 'banks. I'll post up if he has any Vipers. :sled1:

Just spoke to my dealer in NY, he says he still expects a October delivery for my XTX. We'll see, only a week left. Also financing will be what was offered when I show checked back in April. :jump:
