As anyone here used or installed the Fox Float Guards on their Viper? Do they help ? Do they stay in place like they should? Any in put would be helpful. Thanks

I haven't used them yet but they seam to cover the hole bottom portion of the shock. the plastic there made out of is pretty thick and sturdy, they don't move at all after they are tightened down.
I ordered a set of those for my sled and they rub? They hit as soon as you tighten them down, and get worse as the shock compresses. Wondering if I got a bad set?

Ive ran them on my Nytro for years with no issues and now have a set on my Viper. I think they are a little over priced but they do add sufficient protection. The fox3 covers are also sized the same as the earlier Float 1 & 2.
The cover actually protected the shock enough to prevent significant damage when I had the a-arms torn off. The top shock cap bent over but the housing under the cover only had a small dent and didn't need replaced.

If you have a heat gun carefully heat the base to bend them out.

Myn have about a 1/4" gap between them and the shock the hole length of the compression.I ordered a set of those for my sled and they rub? They hit as soon as you tighten them down, and get worse as the shock compresses. Wondering if I got a bad set?
