Just got back from a cold weekend snowmobiling and while loading the sleds to come back home noticed my suspension totally flat, what's going on????
Sleds where parked indoors.
WTF

Try pumping it up and see if it will hold air. Maybe a seal broke. Rare occurence on Floats, but it can happen. It's akin to breaking a spring on a coil over shock.

Let us know why is lost it's air. If I were you I'd dig up my receipt and try to return it as defective. Depends on if theres any visible damaga I suppose.

did you pump it up indoors or pull it outside and pump it up or not lift it up when doing it? But if there right flat than yeah a leak

I'm very worried about this also. Has anyone else had this happen?

I have a friend who put on front/rear team fast air shocks and has had the rear end go flat 4 times in a 1000 mi period (two trips.) Once it goes flat we can pump it back up and its fine for days/weeks and no sign of leaks when checking over time. For us it went flat while out riding on the trails which is a pain!

I was hoping the fox air would be a little better but based on how my SE rides so far I'm really wishing I would have saved the cash and went with a standard Apex.

Do you know what your air pressure was set for prior to the failure? wondering if it could have anything to do with under/over inflation?

Just went through this on my buddies M 20 air suspension. He filed it up in side. Went riding...about an hour in pressure dropped. Filled it with cold air ....good to go.

Keeping my finger crossed. 1000 km & have been very happy so far. Far better ride vs the original shock that came in my 07 attak. I keep the sled in an unheated garage & all air adjustments have been at outside temps.

I did the same think on my Phazer MTX, Installed a Float in the center position IN THE SUMMER and aired it up to 80psi. Took it for its first ride and noticed that it was bottoming way too easy so I checked the air pressure, 45psi! Aired it back up to 80psi and its stayed right at 80psi now for 2 months. Heated up the garage to around 50*f to do an oil change on the Phazer and the pressure was close to 100psi. These seem pretty temperature sensitive and Nitrogen would probably be a good idea. If your pressure is even 20psi low your suspension will look bottomed out due to the design of the shock and the way it builds pressure.

Do you have the aftermarket fox mega shock, that ulmer sells, and yes when we had fox floats,we always filled them in the cold, never had a problem.
