Forgive me for not remembering real names as they relate to screenames on this forum. E-mail or telephone me with your real names and I will let you know where you stand.
I shipped 11 kits yesterday and about the same amount will got out today as well, so we are getting there.
Just so you all know...I am very dedicated to this. I am literally having 1 filter shipped from my supplier(s) in many cases just to fill your orders. What this means is that I am literally losing money on the vent filters because by the time I pay a frieght charge and in some cases a COD fee, the price of the filter cost to me with this added ends being more than I am selling them for!
I am very grateful for everyones patience, I have MANY more air filters being made as well as 75 or so crankcase vent filters still on backorder...but they are trickling in and I fill orders in the order I received them the very moment the package arrives here with the goods.
Everyone has been awesome and I want you all to know that I am grateful again for everyones patience and understanding. I do have a crankcase vent filter idea to fall back on...what I could do is enclose a small piece of air filter media (foam) and you could clamp, tape or tywrap it to the end of the hose. If this is something of an option, e-mail me and I will see if orders can be filled without them...BUT, for the record I am now running low on air filters too. More are being made as you read this and I was notified that some are shipping yesterday. (Monday 12-15-03)

I found a perfect fit vent filter at a local "autoworks " here in Michigan.
it was in the aisle with the hop - up eye candy they sell to kids with the "winged" Honda's etc. seemed to be a nice piece with the same type element as the K & N's. Even came in BLUE ! The I.D. is about 1/2 in. I was able to ream out to about 5/8 , will this be OK Freddie ? Also, did you get any powder filters in yet, don't forget ya owe me a pair !

Yes Al... any filter that blocks debris from going in and doesn't restrict the pressure trying to push out (remember this is an engine vent) will be fine.
Your backorder was shipped yesterday.
If you could, drop me an e-mail with the name of the manufacturer of that filter and I will see about getting some of those too.

I found a pro/gauge breather element that fits perfectly.
Pro/Gauge #FB-73
Fram CA-3642
Fits perfectly and doesn't restrict air flow.

I think I saw the same filters as Traildemon found at my local Walmart store. Price was around $10. And they even came in red. I,m sure these are the fastest ones just like the red sleds.
