I did mine with 2500 miles on them. Bushings weren't shot but there was some play. If you're looking to tighten up you front end If your ball joints/ tie rods are loose it won't make a huge difference though. I couldn't ram mine for a while yet but replaced them with oil-lite bushings. A arms are tight now. It's a bit of a job but once its all done you'll say it wasn't to bad.

For the price difference between the plastic and oil lite I'm surprised anyone buys the plastic. I was quite surprised no one in saskatchewan stocked the oil lite though.

Check out Pioneer performance bushing kits. They are comparable to the oilites. I've had good luck with them.

Thanks for the replies, was at the dealer today and he told me all nytros have some play in the front end ...even brand new ones.He has the oil lite bushings that I will pick-up after sledding season is over, would go with the pioneer ones but shipping to me in Canada etc...it's just as cheap to buy the oil lite bushings at the dealer.

Yea for some reason Yamaha is actually cheaper for a change. And even on par with what the us was charging. 79.95 is what I paid for em.
If you've got a lathe handy or now someone with one I posted a pic of the tool I made to install them. Made it very easy to install the bushings. Being bronze you have to be a little carefull installing them.

X2 on the oil-lite Yamaha bushings. They were bagged and tagged from MPI for $79.99.poor farmer/logger said:Yea for some reason Yamaha is actually cheaper for a change. And even on par with what the us was charging. 79.95 is what I paid for em.

I just used a large C-clamp for the lowers and a length of 3/8 ready rod with large washers and nuts for the top arms. I also recommend to put them in the freezer for an hour before install. It shrinks them up a little to facilitate install.
