I am replacing A-arm bushings with oil lites. I have the plastic off, except for the plastic that goes around the A-arms. How in the heck do you get to the back side of the nuts to get them off. A wrench/socket. I can hardly even feel them. Any pics???

On the 09 and newer you need to remove the shocks and remove more plastic and the rubber covers to get to the back. Kind of a PITA but you can get to them with a socket. My son's 08 are exposed and simpler.

Iv'e done it wothout renoving the rubber around the tierod. All you have to do is remove.whatever plasics you can the when you remove the top aarm bolt(the nuts should be welded to the frame on the other side) and the shock the should be able to bend the plastic behond the aarms enough to get at the nuts for the bottom aarms.

I used an extra long 14mm open/closed wrench on my 11 MTX and on an 09 XTX.
Took all plastic off except for the one the tierod rubber boot is attached to.....If you move your steering side to side it will expose the lower a-arm rear bolts. Bring the wrench in from the side (ahead of the primary clutch) on the left and basically the same position on the right side. I think my wrench is 8 or 9 inches long. It was pretty easy if you put the wrench in the opening ahead of the primary clutch.
To reinstall, put the nut on the closed side of the wrench as the flange on the flange-nut will keep it from falling out of the wrench. If you are careful, you can carry the bolt into position using the wrench and have a buddy ratchet the bolt into the flange-nut while you hold it. You can do it single handed, but its trickey.
I have done it a few times and its pretty easy.
Hope this helps.
