Front heat exchanger is leaking on my 18 ltx dx with about 7800 miles on it. Motor mounts are welded directly to the heat exchanger and the weld cracked.

Oh man ! Are all the winders a weaker design than the Vipers? My Viper has a bar for support that I don’t see there.

Hard to believe they would add more power to a chassis but make that mount a clearly weaker design

Weld it up, it happens, it’s a machine that gets pounded, unless it’s a trailer Queen.

Crack wraps around the weld and is leaking between the mount and exchanger. No good way to weld it without pulling the motor for access.

The left one has a little extra bracing but still not much

Yeah that's stock. And yes it's a single bolt that goes between the two mounts.

2018 7800 miles that is not happening. Unless he purchased a extended warranty even then better have a good dealer. You might have better luck with your insurance company.

I have the 5 year yes warranty, I guess we will see what they say.
