Is anyone running 1.525 or greater up the middle without them contacting the "fins" dead center? I was told that some are heating up and using the Yamaha/cat 137'' sliders and are able to slide them on. Sounds like a good idea has anyone tried them or used something else or is anything really needed?

I avoided the middle last year and I found that my traction was not the best as apposed to my previous cats that were studded up the middle

yes yam sliders heated up go on..I havent but know others who have done this...studding in the center is where the least amount of traction is....on either side of the slide rail is where its at...quite possibly you didnt add enough? long enough ? are they the 1.525 on a 1.25 track?
