Morning all,

Thinking of ditching my floats and putting on a set of Elka Stage 3 shocks.

How difficult will this be for me to do in my garage, or will I need to take it to the dealer?

Thanks,

Chris

If you have a jack and a set of wrenches, it "might" take a full half hour. If you really really move slowly.... 2 bolts per shock, easy peasy.

Yup this is for sure a FUN mod! Be sure to use Loctite when putting your new set on. Stay safe

Got them, now need to install them

You are going to love the Elka's!

A person has to admit, they are pretty to look at. Two bad elka doesn't make them in blue anodized.

Timeline of the simple projects has more to do with how close your work is to the beer fridge. Now if there is enough snow outside to go test them right away, you would be amazed at how fast you can swap a set of shocks!! (imagine a Nascar pit crew)

Snow isn't the issue currently, its the -23c temperature outside that is holding me back (that and work) since I only have a canvas shelter to work in.
