I want to take some preload of my front springs. It looks like there are two seperate nuts around the spring threads, but I can not get them to rotate independently. They seem to be locked together. I have tried blaster and having me and a buddy try and rotate them in opposite directions at the same time, and they won't budge. Anybody have any ideas?
Mine haven't wanted to thread independantly either - not sure if they're supposed to be that way or not I just wrapped em with a clean rag and put a pipe wrench on em (motivation) and turned them both together. . . .I doubt that's the way it's "supposed" to be done but it worked for me.
I'm sure someone out there has figured out how to do it the correct way.
