Front Spring Adjustment

I want to take some preload of my front springs. It looks like there are two seperate nuts around the spring threads, but I can not get them to rotate independently. They seem to be locked together. I have tried blaster and having me and a buddy try and rotate them in opposite directions at the same time, and they won't budge. Anybody have any ideas?

Mine haven't wanted to thread independantly either - not sure if they're supposed to be that way or not :dunno: I just wrapped em with a clean rag and put a pipe wrench on em (motivation) and turned them both together. . . .I doubt that's the way it's "supposed" to be done but it worked for me.

I'm sure someone out there has figured out how to do it the correct way.

You could try holding one with the wrench, and wacking the other using a suitable punch and hammer.
