A factory rep said to keep it straight, but be careful in warmer weather. The instructions say to rotate it forward/down. It would may sense to rotate it so it could cool better. I am just concerned about the fins rubbing on the bag.

Front storage bag rubbing on voltage regulator
I had the storage bag in the nose of my Apex and noticed some minor wear on the bottom side where it rests on the regulator.
Anyone make any modifications to keep it from sitting right on the regulator?
I rotated the voltage regualtor per the instructions, but feel there needs to be something to isolate the bag from it so it doesn't wear/melt.

That link is no longer valid for the nose bag when I click on it and it does not show up on the current Yamaha web site. Any ideas where else a guy can find one?

I like mine and it also helps keep more snow from building up under the hood. Yes I already put extra foam tape around it......glad I did too after all the snow we rode in last week I'd still out there.

Yamaha still makes the nose bag, but it now has a different part number and is $33 instead of the $31 listed on their website. I just bought one from Yamaha ordered it through my dealer. It's very nice, looks the same as the pics in this thread, but at 2/3 the price I wish I'd known about the Choko bag, which looks the same, but is $20 at Shadetree.
Can't really get the URL for the Choko bag at ShadeTree to right to the product, but if you go to their website, you can navigate to it.
