Front Storage Bag Pictures

Won't hurt the air flow at all as the front holes in the bulk head where any air would flow through are already blocked off iwth a plate from the factory.

I was wondering if the bag fastens in there or does it just set in there?

the front bottom kind of tucks under a round tube but it is mostly just set in there. Doesnt seem to need any type of fasteners

Mounting the front storage bag

According to the instructions to install the front storage bag, it mentions to move or bend a plate.

Does the bag just get put into place or do you need to do something prior to putting it into place?

you need to loosen the bolt that the electrical box is attached with and just turn it down for the bag to fit better. It fits without doing it also but I didi it anyway.

Extra weight with the bag

A little extra weight up front will help keep the skis on the ground!! :P

What about the extra weight of the bag and contents. Yamaha is taking it off, and we are putting it on.

Several on this site complain about weight, wait and see someone will complain and say Yamaha cheated them out of some storage that should have come with the sled.

As Tork listed, $25 isn't a bad deal at all. However, I would only use it for stuff I don't really use that often simply because the hood takes a bit more effort than the RX hood to remove.

I just picked one up myself from Port at the Milwaulkee show yesterday. Looks pretty kool. This is where I will keep my pump and the jumper cables. I need to quit buying stuff for this sled, I haven't even really riden it yet and i have almost a grand in it already. lol.
