By compressing the front shock you are putting weight on the skis.

It also lowers the center of gravity and with the right ski setup improves handling. I think most nytro owners are finding 1-2 holes sufficient.

In my case, it makes all the differance in the world. I use C&A Razors with 7.5" Shaper Bars. This is a very aggressive ski that bites into hard pack snow. Although they work perfect in taking out the darting, they do however catch edges and twitch alot. I move my straps down to take weight off the skis in order to make them behave. Once the Razors wear down some and aren't so damn twitchy, then I'll pull them back up. Thats the beauty of the Nytro, it's all the adjustments to be made.

Pulling down your straps? If you pull down or move the straps down one hole, they will put more weight on the ski's , not less. But if you mean pull down, loosen the straps , that would give you less ski pressure.(Im guessing thats what you mean)Snowman07 said:I move my straps down to take weight off the skis in order to make them behave. .

Zippo, the limiter stap has less to do with how the suspension works, but more to do with the overall ballance of the sled's weight being placed on the track and skis.
You have to think of your sled as having 3 points of contact/pressure
1st point - directly under your ski spindle
2nd - the front of your rear suspension
3rd - the rear of your suspension
now think of a teeter tooter, if you compress(pull up on limiter strap) the center point, the two guys on the end of the teeter tooter will be sitting on the ground. Which equals more ski pressure.
