What's everyone using for fuel boost on the bigger tunes most gas in my area are only 91 octane and some 93 with ethanol

I personally run a gallon or two of c16 on the bigger tunes, but alot of guys use octane booster....Torco, Lucas, VP Octanium, Race Gas Concentrate, etc. to name a few

Sunoco 112 leaded fuel, about 2 gallons added to 5 gal of premium. Much more effective than torco or klotz.

I have run lucas, klotz and torco accelerator.
Sled would still knock on luca . Had to put in at least half bottle at every fill up. Ran one bottle of klotz so no real feed back on that other than I went thru it quick.
Torco accelerator is race fuel concentrate so I only add 2-3 oz. at fill ups when trail riding while using 91 octane pump gas. Sled does not knock. This is running the 270r tune.
It doesnt take much torco so it's the best buy for your dollar.

There are other threads on this topic & one has a calculator in it.
FLEECER is an expert Gas Octane guy. He'll chime in.
I don't believe a couple ounces actually amounts to much in a full tank or even half tank of gas.
A whole bottle is less then 1 octane in 10 gallons i believe.

Hurricane 270, 91 oct ,no additives ,no light ever

Check this out.
Too bad you dont need it with the tune you run.
This stuff really works as advertised.

Well Hurricane recommends running Torco Accelerator and since they built my tunes it is what I am going to run. With having knock protection built in on these it is a real bonus compared to running a tuned viper.
Like I said before a couple of oz. at fill up keeps my knock detection from flashing with the crap gas we get up here in the UP from Wisconsin.

Yea that’s cool, I’m just sayin that the lead in leaded fuel and in certain additives helps with octane boost and lubricates valve guides nicely.
