I would say here or on Greenhulk. the Yamaha GPR's have been desired by anyone that respects the race history that hull has had. I have had my 1200r since 2001 when they dumped that ugly millenium color and went back to true Yamaha Blue baby!!
I put mine in a Shuttlecraft and have had many years pushing 4 people and a couple coolers of beer out to my local sandabars. The 1300r with fuel injection should be an easy sell for those that still like the 2-strokes.
I may look at what I may need to change in my shuttlecraft to hold an FZR in there. A 4-stroke monster would give it the low end to pop that shuttlecraft out of the water a bit better.
Talk about poor effeciency, the shuttlecraft is the epitomy of that. But, it gives us the transportation we need to the sandbar, a swimplatform once we get there, a kick #*$&@ stereo system and we still get to rod around on the waverunner once we are there.
The cool part about any boat is finding the configuration that does what you want to do most. In fact, when gas hovered around $4.50/gal summer before last, we still got out, we just did more floating and beer drinking than wave jumping. It's about sun, relaxation and time with friends and family.

Hey!! I resemble that remark lol (mine's a millenium).
I agree about greenhulk too...you may have the best luck with your local kijiji though.

Sorry, I shouldn't say ugly, it was just so different than the usual Yamaha colors. I guess that was the point with the millinium.
The GP1200 I had before that was a blast as well. Seeing the 1200r come out with 20hp more was all it took to get us on board for the new waverunner. But when it came out the next couple years in Yamaha Blue, I just could not hold back.

well that went well. i just sold my gp1300r an hour ago. i haven't even advertised it for sale yet or put out in my yard by the road. just word of mouth that i was getting rid of it in the spring to get a boat got to the right person. i know the guy that bought it and i had heard he was looking for one. i know where it is and that it will be taken care of. i got top dollar for it, no low ball. she was worth it, its just like new, 59.2 hrs on it. i'll miss it alot but only until i put my boat in the water. lol
now all i need is to find a JOB! from the sounds of it, the company i was layed off from probably won't be bringing everyone back. which really sucks b/c if i can't find a job i'm not getting that boat! anyone hiring?
