FX NYTRO® DESIGNER COMBINATION TANK BAG

well maybe im not putting it on right i will check it right now

I would take a pic for you but my xtx is at the dealer getting warranty work done.

I have this bag with a trail tank. I tried it with only using the snaps and it kept coming unsnapped when riding agressive. I plan to modify the bag with a loop to hook around the filler neck and straps to loop around the foot holds like the smaller sport bag. I like the bag it holds alot.

I installed a trail tank last year and yes the one panel is not there to hook your bag onto. I attached new straps and mounted two strap holders onto the frame. I have rode with it this way for 5000km.

The holders were from my saddle bag, and the strapping was some standard 1" strapping we have at work. I did have to v fold the bag tips to get them narrower. you could also just sew the 1" strapping on and heat cut the wider strapes on the bag narrower to look better.

will that still fit with a trail tank???

To fit a trail tank you would have to come up with a way to modify to front tabs that hook onto the plastics that are replaced by the tank.
It should it just hooks on the bottom side of the hood shouldn't have to do anything to it

I have this bag and it hooks to parts 8 and 9 which are removed when you install the trail tank...not sure how you would hook it to the hood...BTW mine never slips.

Mine neither, and I don't know if I've ever taken a ride without it, in 13,000kms. 3/4 of my snaps are broken, and the bag still doesn't budge.

I took mine into a local sewing shop and had them install heavy duty snaps...3000 or so miles and all are still good...the yamaha snaps are junk.
