I need more fuel capacity with my fx nytro but really dont want to buy a bigger tank or tour buddy I would love to buy a jerry fuel can such as the ones that skidoo has for there revs!

if you look at the yamaha canada site under accesories they have a jerry can setup that looks pretty capable
I have the rev tour buddy for my 08 ltx and it fits nicely.I just haven't put it on yet as I am in need of some exhaust turnouts first.

I have two on my sled gives me an extra 30-40 miles of range depending on conditions.

Do they get in the way of getting around on the sled when riding off trail or boondocking? I was worried about catching my feet on them when trying to transfer my weight. What are your experiences so far?

Yes they do get in the way a bit when booniebashing, I only use these for trail riding / longer trips. These would be awesome on the short tracks but yes on the mtx they are in the way at times,
