I have a 09 yamaha nytro xtx. i was riding it the other day hit a snow drift with it and it shut immediately off and it wouldnt start back up. it flashed the check engine light with no code. I ended up loading it into a truck to take home and got it into my garage to check things out. at this point it wouldnt start. fuel pump is working its turning over. i have power to my ignition coils and new spark plugs but im not getting any spark. ive been told it could be my tors but i dont have any codes showing that it would be that. I also have free play in my throttle. I also dont think its my ignition coils because i dont see all three of them going out at the same exact time. Im stumped on what it could be

Starter relay is frozen or bad, replace that and you're good to go

If it was the starter relay would it still turn over or not? Because it turns over

Something with the kill switch maybe? Not 100% but pretty sure if mine is of (or if there was a problem with it) the key will still turn over and all but will not fire.
Doubt it is tors, that on most sleds will still run but sometime will limit rpm's and not let it engage the clutch...side note, most times people have problems with tors it is not actually malfunctioning, usually the person has the throttle cable too tight so the tors is actually doing it's job
I've had to apex's that had the starter relay go and they would not engage the starter to turn over, if u keep trying it u might get lucky 1 out of 10 times and it would start

disconnect one of the coils and probe the red/white wire in the connector for battery power with the key in the on position
