Im gonna test ride the ttx this weekend 

The shocks are sick!!!!! too bad they dont get ride of the silly Yamaha rear torque arm as well and they would have a good set up.

Other than that i test rode the m-ride, with the ascent track, which also was sweet.

A friend of mine is running these exact shocks with custom made bearing spacers in his MTX with the narrow Skinz front end. The maximum angle of the spherical bearing is sufficient, but the bearing spacers will touch the cylinder head of the shock before the spherical bearing reaches the maximum angle. Thus the custom made bearing spacers.
However, no clue if this will work in the 42" version.
Yes, these shocks have spherical bearings in top as well as bottom. Though, please note that spherical bearings is not the only thing needed in order to use the Skinz front end.
