i start looking for fuel around 80 miles - have gone close to 120, but i was coasting it once the light came on - you can get 35 miles after the light comes on. new phazer has a smaller tank, so i'm guessing 100 miles and you'll need fuel.

also, if yamaha would be smart and make a "race seat" like BRP does people could bring gas tanks but no!! haha

It really depends on the snow conditions.
We ran 110 miles on groomers at 50-65mph before the low fuel light came on. I would say that's a good average for me.
Although we spent one day ditch banging in ultra soft wet snow one day and the low fuel light came on closer to 85 miles. We were eating much more fuel in that sticky snow.
I did find an option that may work for a 1ltr MSR fuel bottle on my tunnel. If they are lower than the exhaust, I may even mount two of them.

I will let you know how it works out. 1-2ltrs goes a ways with this motor. Maybe enough to get to the road anyway.
