Gas can on back of Attack?

I have an older gas caddy from a ski-doo and am wondering if it would be safe to install on the back of an attack as the exhaust is close by. Any feed back would be appreciated.

Maybe you could buy the new Yamaha turn outs for the tail pipes to keep the heat off of the can.

I use one but my pipes turn up a little more than the stock ones. I guess it all depends on how high and wide the can is.
