Only thing is about that is I would have to give up my windshield bag.
but good idea if you dont have a windshield bag already! I have both the windshield bag and the handlebar bag is for when going on a longer trip for me.

I think a windshield bag would still fit... just a PITA to open and close.

I'm sure something could be done to accomadate the windshield bag too...maybe alittle different mounting?Phantom said:I think a windshield bag would still fit... just a PITA to open and close.

Gotta say, it takes some gonads to shred a sled like that.
Really, no offense. I just work my tail off to get my sled so it looks new, no matter the age. At times, wish I had it to do that.
Love to see mods, just am the type of guy who like them seamless and unseen.....
Nice job by the way...................

I wold have liked to do a better job on the dash but I was limited to the materials at hand due to it being Christmas eve. The sleds go up North to the cabin for the season new Years weekend and I wanted to get this done. I only drilled one hole that was not existing and if I decide to put the gauge back in the original position the hole will be coverd by the gauge. If it works out I'll make a cover to go around the bottom of the gauge and steering post so it looks pretty for next season.
