It's really not that bad a job.

The case is magnesium so it is soft and typically if you were to design for a plug you would add beef in the area.

Probably best bet would be a drain from inside tunnel. More meat there. That said first service just suck it out. After that it's just seasonal and it really should be completely removed for inspection and probably replacing that top gear.

What length of 6mm bolts were you guys putting in, I plan on changing my chaincase oil tomorrow and would like to put 6mm bolts in instead, the stock bolts sound like junk. I'm at work right now and have a lot of different size m6 bolts to choose from lol, do you guys add washers too?
