We am stretching "ditch crickets" '07 GT to 136" and wondering if the stock 20/41 gearting is too tall to pull the 136 in the deep snow.
As I see it, I can either lower the greaing to 18/41 (which was stock on base, FX and MTN Lite which will do nothing for helping with tight track tension with the Tracks USE 8" extensions; or, while apart I can change out the 9 tooth drivers to 8 tooth drivers which will acoomplish lowering the gearing and allowing more room to compensate for the 8" extensions.
Anyone with a GT stretched to 136, is there enough motor to pull the 136 with stock gearing?
All with a stretch feel free to chime in.
Thanks
