It says in the book to replace Drive chain oil every 3200km!
Is this necessary? Seems to me it should last longer than that.
One you get some miles on your sled you will begin to notice some sludge sticking to the magnet on the end of the dipstick. That is actually metal particles that come off the gears and possibly the chain.
Because of this it is a good idea to change it as recommended

its just gear lube
Is that true? I've got a bottle of 75W90 Mobil1 Gear lube in the garage, and my sled is a wee bit over due for it's first change.
Should I use the Mobil1? Or buy Amsoil's chaincase lube?

Anyone using/losing antifreeze? Seems like I have been adding a little every 500 mi. Not sure if I'm losing it via overflow or not. I have one more trip next weekend so I'll try and monitor the overflow. Also noticed some oil in the airbox, from breather tube. Nothing major, hadn't checked in there in 1500 mi.
