Getting blasted with snow

Got a 45 mile ride with it on then reinjured my herniated disc due to a drift, season's probaly over now.
Noticed less snow on my back, tail light constantly still covered though- actually frozen chunk of ice (it was -4* / -24 wc when we were out).
Need more seat time & different conditions to determine if it actually helps.

Sorry to hear about your back!

Just an update on my snow/ice build up etc. Have put on about 400 miles since flow flap install. I also should note that I added a 3/4 SBR Block Off plate, and sprayed my rear tunnel with a light coating of Fluid Film 400 miles ago. I also plugged the small rectangular opening at the top of the Viper Flap, to stop any extra snow from coming up through my brake light area.

My back is clear and dry, brake/tail light easily seen, little to no snow or ice build up in tunnel and my sled seems to be running cooler. I think the shape and length of the Viper flap is circulating more snow back on my track towards the cooler. Ive been running 50/50 on and off trail and we have massive amts of snow in Southern NB, and it's been -10 to -30 Celsius.

That sucks to here, hope you have a speedy recovery. I took mine out the other day...tailight still gets covered depending on what I'm riding in, powder or hard pack. On hardback I get no snow on my back...if it's a fresh powder day and lots of snow dust I still get some on the back but not as bad as it used to be....so it's not a total solution but it's way better than before and I prefer the looks of it vs the old one.
