I have installed and am testing a clutch weight I used extensively in the past but abandoned in 2018 because of reliability issues and the owners unwillingness to address them.
Long story, I used heelclicker and heel clicker Drag-n-fly weights since they came out in the early 2000's . They were a favorite here of the late Turk, a member who was known for his clutching expertise.
I used those weights in zrt 800's, xcr 800's, zr 800's. RX -1's, Apex, Nytros, Vipers, Rage's---all with great success.
I could not find anything else to pull as hard or upshift as quick .
The problem was the 3 cylinder 4strokes would flatten the weight. A stock 1049 would flatten the weight in @3500 miles, A Winder @ 1500 miles, a tuned winder @ 600 miles. The owner would never address the problem, only acknowledging that the 4 stroke 3 cylinder is where the problem was. So I quit using them. But I never found a weight to give the aggressive pull that the heelclickers did.
Last month I went to the website and noticed a new name on the front page. I called and talked to the new owner. He admitted to the problem with the old weight and said they have changed the metal and hardening process. So I ordered a set and installed them Friday. Yes you still have to trim the edge of the clutch.
After a short, 30 mile, test ride, I could feel what I have been missing. I did weight them a bit heavy and made an adjustment when back at camp but have not ridden it yet. It pulls hard.
The real test will be longevity. Hopefully I can get significant miles on these "new" style weights and report back.

Use to use them on my old 2 strokes, both Redhead motors and 2000 SRX with motor mods! The adjustability on those were very hard to beat! Could adjust for low smooth engagement and low end, and right where you wanted for mid and top end! My only concern or problem with them was the amount of force on the long super stiff primary springs that were available with them!

Needed to make home made tool to be able to put primary cover on! I called it the Bomb for more than one reason ! Now I love the easy short spring pressure of the Yamaha primary springs that I have, but do not doubt that a set of those could would work really well! Good luck with your setup!

I always used their black spring, which was not nearly as long as those springs you mentioned. It is a 140-400 according to heelclicker. I am not sure how they measure them
The new kits also come with a secondary spring, which is red. I believe it is a , or very similar to, a Dalton white A/C spring.
I did not use their secondary spring, as I have my secondary working pretty well right now with my current set up.
